A high-performance, load-bearing gypsum-based fire mortar designed for trade professionals to reinstate fire resistance in wall and floor penetrations.
Provides up to 4 hours of fire resistance (EI 240) for a wide range of service penetrations.
Expands during the curing process to form a tight, robust, and non-spalling fire seal.
Excellent load-bearing capabilities and acoustic performance, tested for durability and stability.

Suitable for cables, bundled cables, cable racks, cable trays, steel, copper, alupex, composite, plastic pipes and air ventilation ducts
High degree of mechanical resistance; the seal is load bearing without reinforcement
Tested for air permeability with excellent resistance to pressure
Fully set within 1 hour
Will maintain the acoustic design performance in walls and floors.
Suitable for most surfaces, included concrete, bricks, Leca, steel, plastic etc, but not suitable to fitting of doors or in service openings that involve movement

Fire resistance and acoustic performance depend on the tested construction, service penetrations and installation configuration. Install in accordance with the current Protecta technical documentation for the relevant system.
